Student Nurses in Action Program (SNAP)

The Student Nurses in Action Program (SNAP) provides unique opportunities for students to observe nursing leaders in action at Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) Board Meetings. Jointly funded by the Association of Registered Nurses of BC (ARNBC) and the Nursing Education Council of BC (NECBC), the program was successfully piloted in 2014, and received unanimous approval from both Boards to become a permanent program for B.C nursing students beginning in 2015.

Each year there are several opportunities for a B.C. nursing student to travel to Ottawa to participate in the program. Travel, meals and accommodation will be reimbursed.
